 Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Paterson, New Jersey from the age of two, owner Omar Loran draws inspiration from his roots. He named Taino Fire Protection after the Taino Indians of Puerto Rico, with the sun symbolizing both their origins and the essence of the business. This choice was also a heartfelt tribute to his mother, Sol, meaning "sun" in Spanish.  

Years later, with years of experience and industry knowledge behind us, Taino Fire Protection was founded as a family-owned and operated business.
